Ever since the term ‘Carpe Diem’ was innocently mis-translated as ‘Feed the Fish’, it’s replaced ‘Seize the Day’ as our preferred family maxim. We use it when urging each other to chase opportunities and live life to its fullest. It probably helps that many of our happiest family memories have revolved around fish - catching mackerel en route to our favourite beaches off the West Coast of Ireland, determined deep sea fishing trips, or the endless tales of Dad’s latest run in with the ever elusive Sea Bass.
Our father’s recent diagnosis has had us living our family maxim to its fullest, soaking up time with family & friends and reminiscing on memories old and new. We hope these caps will remind you to do the same.
